International Cooking School Of Italian Food And Wine

International Cooking School Of Italian Food And Wine

The Gastronomic Capital Of Italy, Bologna is the home of handmade pasta, Parmigiano-Reggiano, prosciutto di Parma and balsamic vinegar

In 1986 the Bolognesi invited me to open my cooking school, and I love sharing this fantastic experience of daily Italian life and cooking La Cucina Italiana. We'll shop in the outdoor market for ingredients. One block away is our beautiful private Renaissance palazzo with our hands-on cooking classes. Together we'll make delicious Italian meals.

In our Basics Course you'll learn a foundation of authentic professional techniques and delicious dishes for everyday meals and entertaining. During our countryside excursions, you'll meet our friends who make the best Parmigiano-Reggiano and balsamic vinegar you'll ever taste! Plus a private demonstration at a top Michelin-star restaurant.

The Taste of Emilia-Romagna course is perfect for those with limited travel time. Offering in four days the Best of the region, indulge in our food-and-wine pairing meals, a special excursion to Modena, Michelin-star dining.

Savoring Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany is the perfect blend of two great regions. You'll cook with Italian chefs in our palazzo in Bologna then cook with chefs on the Tuscan wine estate, plus visit Siena, Greve in Chianti and Florence.

Our October Truffle Festival combines wonderful classes in Bologna with travel in Piedmont for Alba's Truffle Fair and Slow Food's Terra Madre in Torino. We enjoy exclusive winery visits, Michelin-star dining and our very own truffle hunt.

I hope to share these memorable culinary experiences with you soon ~

Buon Appetito,
Mary Beth
