We offer single day Catalan cooking classes and market visit in the heart in Barcelona, and 3 and 6 day hands-on Catalan cooking vacations in El Priorat during the whole year. These include daily cooking classes, Priorat winery visits, cultural excursions, and an olive oil tasting presentation.
Catacurian is a fourth generation stone house located in the small village of El Masroig in the Priorat region of Catalonia Spain and restored into a luxurious 3 bedroom/bathroom private boutique hotel with fully equiped teaching kitchen, wine tasting room with adjoining wine cellar, and all of the amenities for a comfortable stay.
3- & 6-day cooking vacation programs that include classes in Catalan cuisine, Priorat wines & olive oils. 6-day programs include grape or olive-picking sessions. 3-day Priorat wine tours. 1-day market visits & cooking classes in Barcelona.

Alicia Juanpere Artigas learned Catalan cooking at an early age from her mother, later studied at Terra d'Éscudella & Bell-Art chef schools in Barcelona & has worked at Restaurante Julian Tomas.
